Cal Macià is located in the town of L’Espunyola. Much of the territory is occupied by forests pines, holms and oaks. Farming and ranching are the main economic resource of the area. Near l’Espunyola, there are some places well-worth visiting and in about ten minutes you are in the city of Berga.

In Capolat there are a set of crags located at the foot of the Rasos de Peguera. In autumn it is a good place for mushroom lovers. From the top there are incredible views of Berguedà. You can arrive there through the Malpàs but we recommend you to use a 4×4 vehicle.

It is located in Berga at 1200 metres of altitude. It is sometimes called one of the balconies of Catalonia.

It is an old ski resort located at Castellar del Riu at 1800 metres of altitude. Rasos is an ideal place to practice cross-country skiing or snowshoes during winter. You can also walk around this wonderful place or you can practice mountain bike during the rest of the year.

It is a dam built in 1973 with the goal of collecting the waters of Llobregat river. There, we can still see the church of Sant Salvador de la Vedella, the only building that still exists of the town that was submerged in the waters. It is a very good place to practice water sports.

They are found in Castellar de N’hug. It is the birth of one of the most important rivers in Catalonia, the Llobregat river. It has its greatest spectacle when it rains.

It is the capital of the Berguedà region and Berga is extended at the foot of the Queralt´s mountain. From Berga, you can visit different beautiful places such as the Rasos and the Sanctuary of Queralt. It stands out especially for the Patum celebration.
